Barrel It

As you might imagine, going over Niagara Falls in a barrel is a very dangerous thing to do. It's thought that since the early 1900's, 16 people have gone over the falls. Out of 16, 11 people survived. Every barrel riding attempt was performed at Horseshoe Falls, also known as the Canadian Falls. This is because the bottom of the American Falls is fraught with sharp rocks, a definite danger to anyone falling from above. Tags: Barrel It

Enjoy the beauty and majesty of Niagara Falls.

Majestic! Stunning! Dynamic! Breathtaking! Awesome! Sometimes mere words seem so powerless to describe a true beauty, but we still try. Through the ages people have attempted to find words to describe Niagara Falls and they have failed. Words alone cannot explain the experience of seeing this wonder of nature. One must hear them, see them, feel them, and even smell them to truly understand their beauty. Tags: Niagara Falls

Amusements at Niagara Falls

If you’ve never been to Niagara Falls you are probably picturing lovely shops, art galleries, and beautifully landscaped parks. Not! The town of Niagara Falls should be renamed Tacky Town. I was utterly amazed when I visited this small town so close to one of the Wonders of the World. Tags: Amusements
